NICKY TO CLOSE DURING CORONAVIRUS CRISIS
Following the most recent Government advice the Nicky Alliance Centre is to close from 17 March until further advised that it is safe to re-open.
Chief Executive, Michelle Wiseman, said: “The decision to close during the current Coronavirus pandemic has been taken reluctantly but with careful consideration for the welfare and well-being of our members, staff and volunteers. Our members are among the most vulnerable groups.
“Our Meals on Wheels service will be expanded to all our members and others in the community who are self isolating as well as basic grocery provisions. We will also be making our kitchens Kosher for Pesach and will provide Meals on Wheels throughout the festival opening up this service to those who need it in the wider Jewish community.
“We will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and we will reopen as soon as we are advised that it is safe to do so.”
