Palace invite for Shelley

 Nicky Alliance Centre fundraising executive, Shelley Blackston was recognised for her work at The Nicky and for other community organisations with an invitation to one of this year’s Queen’s Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace.   Shelley has worked relentlessly for Leukas-Aid, The Jewish Theatre Company and South Manchester Lubavitch.  She said: “ I felt elated.  It was an extraordinary experience and a day I’ll never forget.”

 Michelle Wiseman, chief executive at The Nicky, said: “I am delighted that Shelley has been recognised for all her hard work for The Nicky and the wider community.  Her day at The Palace was well deserved.”

 Shelley was accompanied to the Palace by her husband Les.
